QUALIFIED LEAD POLICY

Clear Standards for Qualified Lead Delivery

Kaboom Leads is built on transparency. Our Qualified Lead Policy is a working operating standard — not a fine-print trap. It defines what counts as a qualified lead, what doesn't, and how billing and dispute decisions are made. Clear standards protect both parties and keep the partnership focused on what matters: generating real opportunities for your business.

WHAT COUNTS AS A QUALIFIED LEAD

Opportunities That Meet the Standard

A qualified lead is a genuine service inquiry generated through the Kaboom Leads marketing system for the applicable service niche within the approved market. Qualified leads may include any of the following — each tracked and attributed through the system:

  • Tracked inbound phone calls seeking the applicable service
  • Text message inquiries routed through the tracking system
  • Voicemails left on the tracked lead line
  • Missed calls recorded by the call-tracking system
  • Completed or partially completed form submissions from prospective customers seeking the applicable service within the approved market

The inquiry must be seeking the applicable service in an area covered by the active agreement. Lead volume varies by market demand, competition, seasonality, search behavior, advertising costs, and other factors. The written agreement defines specific standards applicable to each partnership.

WHAT IS NOT A QUALIFIED LEAD

Inquiries Generally Not Considered Qualified

Not every inbound contact qualifies as a billable lead. The following types of inquiries are generally not considered qualified leads. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive — the written agreement governs all specific determinations.

Spam or bots

Spam or Bot Submissions

Automated or machine-generated contacts that do not represent a real person seeking your service.

Fraudulent submissions

Clearly Fraudulent Submissions

Contacts that show clear evidence of manipulation, fabrication, or intentional misrepresentation.

Employment inquiries

Employment Inquiries

Individuals contacting the marketing system to apply for a job rather than request a service.

Vendor contacts

Vendor and Sales Contacts

Suppliers, salespeople, or third parties attempting to sell to your business rather than hire it.

Wrong industry

Wrong-Industry Requests

Contacts seeking a service entirely outside the niche covered by the active agreement.

Out of service area

Clearly Out-of-Area Inquiries

Contacts that are clearly and unambiguously outside the approved geographic service area defined in the written agreement.

When a dispute arises, the written Lead Generation Agreement controls the determination. The examples above are provided for general guidance only.

WHAT DOES NOT MAKE A LEAD INVALID

Delivered Opportunities Are Not Invalidated by Prospect Behavior

A lead is evaluated at the point of delivery — not by the outcome of the sales process. The following situations do NOT automatically make a delivered lead invalid or non-billable:

  • The prospect does not book an appointment
  • The prospect does not accept an estimate or close a sale
  • The prospect stops responding after initial contact
  • The prospect provides incomplete contact information
  • The prospect is price shopping or comparing providers
  • The business misses the call or fails to respond in time

Kaboom Leads generates the opportunity. Answering, quoting, following up, and closing are the lead buyer's responsibility. Results depend in part on answer rates, response speed, pricing, sales process, follow-up, and customer service.

If your team misses a call, receives an incomplete form, or cannot close a particular prospect, those outcomes reflect the sales process — not a failure of lead delivery. For guidance on maximizing results from every inquiry, see our Lead Buyer Success Standards.
